I feel the same. You aren't alone in that. Unless I can switch between FPP ( first person perspective) and TPP ( third person perspective) , I'm not interested. First person simply isn't for me is all.
I absolutely HATE first person perspective in videogames (unless you can switch between FPP and 3rdPP to examine things or whatever) It's the opposite of immersive to me, it makes me queasy, it disconnects me from the character completely. Hate it. That's all, bye.

@JazineG I believe it's a small segment of these losers who fit that description. Most don't honestly believe there are no hot women in video games. Games from the East prove that they are still around.

If you want a great example as to the reason an all digital future is a shitty idea and the people cheering for it are complete and absolute morons, this whole PSN situation proves it!
