The modern day proponents of fascism are so stupid that they aren’t actually even aware that they are fascists. In fact they’re delusional enough to believe that they oppose fascism.

It is especially funny to hear young guys with name like Archie & Alfie talk like they're Caribbean gangsters. You just know when they get back to their parents' townhouse in Belgravia they'll revert back to "Mummy, I'm home, and I've brought us some macarons from Harrods"

People often criticise Northern accents, but I’ve never heard anything worse than the modern accent spoken by London youths. Who speak in incomplete sentences and pretend they are from the ghetto. What’s worse, is that it’s common among the middles classes to speak like this.

@Paul_Heron_ what libertinism & permissiveness it does have is not in a civil sense of the state leaving people alone, but for perversion, kink & degeneracy. It's the politics of arresting their political enemies for offensive speech but of refusing to deport foreign rapists & paedophiles.

People are annoyed about how risky this seems for Charles, which I can understand, but if the outcome is that the most high profile advocate of architectural traditionalism can influence this government to stop pressing ahead with their plan to build ugly houses I'm fine with it.

@jfwduffield Queen Victoria especially was very partisan towards Lord Melbourne & the Whigs early in her reign. Similarly for Queen Anne & the Tories.

Controversial but I think that people with foreign names should Anglicise them if they want to live permanently in the UK so that English people can actually pronounce them. Eg. Qari Abdul Wahab becomes Quentin Algernon Warburton & Mohammed Hoblos becomes Morris Hobnobs.

Jihad for the Israelis. Death for adulterers and homosexuals. Don't help FBI terror investigations. Polygamy, yes please. The American preacher Muhammad ibn Muneer boasts an endless catalogue of horrors. And he’s due to tour the UK with One Ummah, a registered charity. 1/6

@LoftusSteve @hector_drummond I think it's a corrupt, unstable country with culture & values so different to ours that their migrants are probably harder to integrate than eg. Indian migrants are. Those we should let in are ie. gay people, atheists & christians who risk death if they stay in Pakistan.

If this is true then it means we have a sizeable proportion of a minority who are proud of their race but not their nation. That's a recipe for disaster, possibly culminating in some form of race war. Our obsession with slavery & saying Britain is racist has done this.

Recent polls indicate a significant drop in British national pride among young adults, with only 41% of 18-27-year-olds expressing pride in being British compared to 80% in 2004. With so many different Identities/people/nationalities/immigrants, etc... What "ELSE "would you expect???

Personally I think the Labour Party is cooked with regards to being salvageable. Culturally conservative economic leftists should bin it & go to the SDP.

Blue Labour has historically done little mass lobbying within the party. If you're interested in a populist and communitarian movement within Labour, then watch this space. We expect to go live within a month.

I think it's more innocent than that. Traditional architecture is something Charles is passionate about & if he is able to influence Rayner into bringing back the requirement for houses to be beautiful that she scrapped, then that's surely a good thing.

Why is the King doing this? I can’t remember his mother, our beloved late Queen, seeming to lend Royal approval to any political party. Poor judgment.
