About 2 years ago I began making the mask. Then over a year later I completed my own Puro fursuit. It was quite a journey and I hope to bring him to another convention soon❤️❤️❤️

Mask Update: I bought the wrong kind of spray paint smh. This one is a gloss coat while the one on my fursuit is a flat coat. While I do like the way the gloss coat looks, I personally think the flat is more accurate. What do you guys prefer?

I’ve decided to go back to the flat finish. This one is done, but I’m keeping it for quality reference when I make the others. I’m going to make a few to start, then get boxes, and then I’ll set up the Etsy shop. Stay tuned ^w^

Update on the masks: My brother’s gf has done this sort of stuff and told me that rather than using Etsy I should do the whole operation through twitter or discord dms and pay through cash app . Set up more to a commission style sale, which will be more secure and what not.

Two that are almost done.
For those who don’t know, my masks are made from eva foam, using a bandsaw for the angled parts of the muzzle. Then coated with multiple layers of plasti-dip, flex seal, and then paint. It takes about a day for each layer to dry, then I apply the next.

Mask production has begun! Production will still be a bit slow since I’m in school, but I’m going to dedicate pretty much all of today to working on the masks. Thank you all for your patience, it will be rewarded. ^w^

So I’ve got good news and bad news.
Good news: Dropped out of college and am back home with my parents and siblings, and with better plans for the future.
Bad news: I’ve gained 20 pounds from college depression and can barely fit into my suit.

Making these has taught me stuff that I hadn’t known before, mainly the foam can warp depending on how the coating is applied. Using a complete mask for shape comparison helps, but minor differences are inevitable. But I do have a few ideas to make things more consistent

I’m sorry to say I have a bit of bad news. I really don’t know when I’ll be able to go to another convention with Puro.
I was hoping to be able to attend ANW5 in January, but my college schedule and other things have gotten in the way. I’ll still try, but the chances are slim😿
