We've been mostly releasing server sided fixes at the moment, but we're aiming to get a game update out with some additional fixes as soon as we can.

Loads of cool stuff to look forward to, but this has to be my favourite feature in our game.
- Social Squad! Add another player's character to your squad, even while they're offline! Gear, talents, outfits will all be copied over. And best of all it can be anyone's! Your favourite streamer, rank 1 player on the leader board, your friend who's too busy 'having a life' 🙄

If you look under each of the character names at the bottom middle of the loadout screen, you'll see an "Auto Equip Gear" checkbox.
You can enable/disable this per character and turning that off should do the trick if you're looking to put specific gear on your Squad.

They haven't been removed. Those are screenshots from the Season/Episode overview showing you what gear is available. It only shows the base stats and not random/modifiable Augments.

It looks like it's working fine in your video.
You have auto equip enabled.
You equipped a different neck bomb on Shark leaving your old one free.
That was auto equipped on Boomerang.
You then did the same with Harley and Shark auto equipped the one she previously had on.
