Little bit annoyed with my D school tonight. They had a class discussion about Israel / Gaza . The teacher stated Hamas was a activist group . My D put her hand up and said they were terrorists. Others in class supported . They were threatened with behaviour points and detention.

My childhood was spent riding along such bridleways and across moors . Jumping stone walls gates and rails .

Don’t take your parents for granted
What I would give for a moment of their company or wisdom , sound of their voice or just a hug . I hate anniversaries and it doesn’t get easier.

Horse travelled home last night after a successful day despite the extreme very deep muddy conditions. We were in contention for a podium finish but it was not to be . Now qualified up a level which is good 🏇

I adored John Le Mesurier charming endearing with killer one liners and wit . What a chap 🤍
John Le Mesurier wrote his own death notice in The Times which read: “John Le Mesurier wishes it to be known that he conked out on November 15th. He sadly misses family & friends.” Before he fell into a coma his last words were reported to have been “It’s all been rather lovely.”

Though as I’m sure you remember when we were young we did the polar opposite to the older generation. Hence my daughter hates vegan food and anything she calls ‘ Wokery Pokery ‘ bollocks … her generation is sick of it and can see through the BS.

Tough morning we say goodbye to my daughters faithful horse . Whose been her best friend through the loss of my mother and lockdown . He’s going to a super home and hopefully we’ll see him in the field horsing around in Autumn .

I revisited ‘Brideshead Revisited’ this week.
Memories of my mother came flooding back . It’s been a hard week . I’ve missed her wisdom and advice. It feels like an age since I last saw her . My memories are fading as if she was never here on this earth .
