It’s All Torsion. Internal & External Torsion. See the second slide for the origin of internal/external torsion of the body. The Wolffian Ridge is where the converge and differentiate. For reference, think Internal torsion the chest sinks in and the back envelops the front. External torsion the chest expands out and the back pulls down and back. Here I describe this shot put spin technique in these terms. A constant back and forth of the Torsional Polarities to put the shot furthest. THIS is the spinal engine in action. So what is Stu to do now? His spine ain’t stiff… What is Dr. McGill’s response to his scientific conclusion that “the core does not generate power” now? And did the “golfer’s spine” ever “pass through neutral at ball contact” like he says it does? The jig is up. Core-up. @mboyle1959 I do know sport… and the spine flexes, extends & side bends all the time. In fact, the spine is never rigidified and immobilized in neutral in sports. The primary job of the core muscles is to coordinate their actions collectively to generate as much force as possible. That travels through the body fluidly without restriction. Freeze, squeeze and resist the twist with your spine cemented in neutral creates “anti-athletic” neural engrams. In other words, you get stronger at “wrong strong”. When is anyone going to address the elephant in the room - like the efficacy of the pallof press? It was sold as a science based foundational staple exercise for core-stability. This is false, and it is completely insane (crazier than I am). But no one who told us it was so great is saying anything now… No one is answering my questions. Censorship by omission only works in an echo chamber. Too many people know… the tipping point is inevitable and very soon. On Valentine’s Day I will be presenting at @UbrZati with @pntrack and others who are able to call a spade a spade. Outlining & defining the #ParadigmShift from peer review’s “Locomotion I don’t know” to Weck’s “Locomotion 2.0”. Our ancestors back in “Locomotion 1.0” established and maintained perfect balance to survive. Then modernity robbed humanKIND of its Athletic Intelligence. Then academia jumped in and the carnage (non-contact injuries) exploded. Read who is presenting at OutZide The Box and you will know there will be no where to run and hide anymore. The peer pressure on peer review exercise science to come clean on core training will hit the tipping point — and then you can all Win with Weck too. Like you should have long ago. Nothing personal. It’s just that you are such an influential thought leader whose opinions inform the beliefs and actions of some of the most influential players in the game. The narrative that “a stiff spine immobilized in neutral is stable” is of your direct making. You are at the center of its creation. I would say any righteous indignation I might feel is more than justified considering the course of events from 2007 to now. But I really do want your very next “New Concepts in Core Training” seminar to be all it that it can be… for your benefit, my benefit & everyone’s benefit. 2025 is the year we get shit done. @StinkKitchen Both or separately. The Vest has spring loaded cartridges that work on the body. The “magic maracas” require the hands to move faster than gravity (which they do). They sync perfectly together, and can be used independently.

I can teach you to suspend your skeleton within your myofascial matrix to “funnel force to & from the floor thru the balls of your feet”. When you don’t NEED your heels, you’re an athletically elevated individual. This is how to beat a better man to the punch… instantaneous agility to win the first step. ANY extraneous tension kills the float. And once elevated - you can cultivate styles of locomotion to meet the demands of the task at hand. Side/Side/Center. If you lack the wisdom to ever optimize “Side/Side”, you wind up looking stupid teaching stupid approach to athletic movement (without yet realizing it because their standards are pathetic — “consensus science” is the religion they use to block all debate. Pathetic ain’t athletic. It’s over. It’s begins again — LOCOMOTION 2.0 replaces LOCOMOTION “I don’t know” FINALLY.

@LaShrewdness Thanks for relaying the most important information ever taught in physical education. You’ve got PhD’s teaching people to move worse fundamentally — and they will either reform or lose all financial and reputational rewards.
