Friendly reminder in the FNaF universe there's an illusory technology named "Animstealth" that makes the animatronics invisible to the human eye, while also letting them roam the entire state of Utah unnoticed, in the 2020s;. and people find a *fake tree* weird of all things.
In FNaF AR, the original plan was to have a unique animation when you equip the animatronics; they would decloak and then default into their workshop animation; similarly, Plushtrap has this as well, but he defaults to a lost animation. (Source: ForsakenBonnie).#FNAF #FNAFAR

I think the biggest issue with the idea of GlitchAfton is that.it's technically correct. Glitchtrap represents not only William, but ALL the evil he caused. That's why he's made of the memories of his victims: He's Afton's legacy, and in a way, he's much more than he ever was.
