Would love some long form talks on this with competing ideas. Like Rohan, I'm generally a fan of what DOGE is starting to accomplish. I'm not a fan of every little thing being demonized to the point people are being hateful towards federal employees (even @farzyness, but he "regretted it", although never apologized.) Like, we can't even apologize for our mistakes now? That's how tribal this has become, because he'll look weak or "bending to the mob". No, it's incredibly wrong to paint all federal employees as bad people. Many of them had skills/qualifications and simply applied for a job to serve their country in their own way. Why is Elon and Co. running to 𝕏 to claim fraud/waste/abuse without providing a shred of proof. Disagree with spending btw isn't fraud. Where is the transparency. And then we got some dingdong "kid" (he's not a kid) saying vile shit just months ago and getting second chances apparently to have access/influence over some of the most sensitive material that exists re: the general public. Why must it all happen like THIS? JFC we - Elon - can do better.
