The Stocking Stuffer is a beautiful way for kids to honour and remember their loved one. Each year, write down memories, funny stories, or special moments from the past year and tuck them into the stocking. Choose a day with your family to sit together, read the memories aloud.

A reminder: 🎄 Celebrating, smiling, or finding joy in the litle moments is okay. Engaging in the holidays doesn’t mean you’re betraying your loved one. Grief and holiday cheer can exist side by side. Honour your emotions, and give yourself permission to feel both.

This holiday season, help kids feel connected to their loved ones. Encourage them to choose a gift in memory of someone they miss. Then, donate it to a charity or someone in need. It’s a heartfelt way to share love, give back, and keep memories alive during the holidays.

Holidays can be hard for grieving kids, as they often miss the presence of their loved one(s). Creating a memory garland is a beautiful way to stay connected! 🎄 Kids can cut out shapes, write or draw their favourite memories, attach string and hang them somewhere special.
