The streets used to be empty as if there was some strike ,people used to stand for hours outside a TV shop , since cable connection wasn't common back then , switching off and on the TV depending whether Sachin was batting or not . Probably MS has also done all the above himself.
No hate to any player but I don't think any player be it Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma or even Kapil Dev are near to what Dhoni has achieved.

There were around 20% minorities at the time of Partition in Pakistan,less than 2% remain now. On the other hand minority population has grown significantly in India since Independence. Pakistan is the last country that should be lecturing any country on how to treat minorities.

My brother was diagnosed with cancer and was going through his treatment .Most of the time we both watched matches from the hospital bed . The spirit and fight that you guys showed on the field , I could see the same in my brother . Both India and he won the battle at the end .
