@gmbarnard22 The halftime show was absolute garbage. Low energy. Nobody knew any of the songs. Have seen many videos where the crowd were all sitting down checking their phones etc. with a few people standing. Just a guy and a mic, talking fast to garage band or fruity loops tracks 🤷♂️

@plasmatic99 @GeneralMCNews Many reasons, however, mainly it would be to give the media plenty of notice to cover the announcement. Quite often, these pre-announcements are given solely to the ‘media’ so that they are in attendance, but not always. It’s just a way to build an expectant audience.
