@Liberty4TheKids Texas schools are not fully funded. We have one of the worst student to teacher ratios in the country. We have are in the bottom 15 per dollar student funding in the country.

@AZBlue22 I mean if popular statewide AG doesn’t win against popular governor in KS and KY then business woman in purple state does not beat popular governor. I think that math adds up.

@BasedMikeLee Aren’t you some highly respected constitutional lawyer? What do you mean judges have no authority? It’s literally in the constitution.

@robhenneke @GovAbbott You’re right there is demand for private school attendance but there are only so many spots a school can take before they can’t accept them.

@GovAbbott The 10k given in these ESA are based on the median of how much private schools are not the most expensive ones. The majority of Texans do not support school choice. Most rural counties don’t even have private schools and many of the urban counties voted for a Rep who opposes it.

@GovAbbott Private schools can deter anyone from their institution for any reason besides religion, race and disability. No protections for students with lower income who may not have the money regardless of the accounts or vouchers provided. 2/x

@JBorregoTX What about the 96 counties that don’t have a private school in them? What do they get out of their tax dollars being used for a program they get nothing out of?
