The transfer portal is killing high school recruiting!! We won a league title, made the state playoffs and I’ve seen ZERO college coaches at our school since. There were years I would see up to 30 before signing day.

I guess that I have no idea what a college football player is? This kid has 8 touchdowns in 2 games (2 ST TD’s called back). 1st team all-league last year, 6’2 and explosive, track state champ and high GPA!!. ZERO D1 offers. ZERO D2 offers. 1 NAIA offer (shoutout to MSU-N!!).

After losing out in the playoffs last night, this tweet hits home as we head into our “offseason”.
As a head coach now in my 20th year, the one constant has been that players who love spending time in this room are the same ones that I trust the most on the field. Work ethic, toughness, overcoming adversity, earning respect of your teammates, etc. are all built in this room.
