Hybrid Theory was the most given answer and it wasn’t even close.

Day One takes are cool but 10 listens isn’t enough to gauge the depth of this record, let alone 1.
Loads of highlights but the “4 tracks in 1” at the end of this album is, in my opinion, the band’s best work to date. Who else could do that?! Nobody.

The flex on this album is that, even if they wanted to, 99% of other bands could not blend styles from hip-hop, trap, metal, jazz, classical and WAY more with this level of musical knowledge, songwriting firepower and the budget for a godlike production job from Joe Barresi.

Not inclined to disagree but all it takes is a change of station manager and that changes everything. The bands I focused on when I ran Scuzz (BMTH, Architects, Parkway, Broco) are all in arenas now. Now K!TV is closed that can’t happen and that’s a bummer.
Kerrang was a dusty old relic bro they weren’t playing anything new or note worthy - I wish they had been. I’d occasionally check out of curiosity but find the same rotation of sum41 papa roach MCR green day the rasmus panic FOB LP and just think what’s the fucking point

Sick New World does everything you could ask of a festival. Good nostalgia, supports the most popular rising bands, thinks outside of the box (I’ve seen Danny Elfman and people will lose their minds over it) and in Las f’n Vegas.
