Point & Click Horror games are somewhat of a lost artform. Of the few examples we have, do you have a favourite? Which game immediately comes to mind when you think 'Point & Click Horror game'?

The Thing was always going to be difficult to adapt into a video game. Making a player feel the same level of paranoia would have been more or less impossible. But The Thing video game is a totally different beast that captures an atmosphere that is similar to the John Carpenter masterpiece. What do you think?

FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is proof that fear can be extrapolated from very rudimentary graphics and gameplay atop a strong narrative. And like the best horror, it is a story too enticing to look away from, even though to do so is terrifying.

DOOM pits you against the forces of hell, and many of the demons have iconic and fairly unnerving designs. It is a power fantasy, but the setting and scenario is certainly horrific. Did anyone get frightened playing this one back in the day?

It's well known that Devil May Cry was originally a Resident Evil sequel, and this is no more evident than in the first of Dante's games. With a strict difficulty curve and a camera that held some control back, the roots of the series are definitely locked in horror, even if you are full of demonic power.

Dino Crisis 1 and 2 have been restored to modern PCs through GOG! You can now play both these classic titles with various improvements and optimised for modern controllers! It's a miracle!

Otogi: Myth of Demons is a FromSoftware game that feels very similar to Dark Souls, especially in the dark visuals and painfully difficult boss fights. Have you experienced this one?

Fatal Frame has never really been in the spotlight, but like the ghosts that haunt you in each of the games, the series has always lurked in the background, away from the mainstream. Have you played any of the games?

Exile: Wicked Phenomenon, a TurboGrafx RPG in which you set out to destroy the concept of hatred by killing gods, has some of the hardest horror box art of all time.

You may be great at On-Rail shooters, but how is your typing skills? This version of House of the Dead has you wield your keyboard as your weapon, typing phrases and letters to make sure your undead foes return to their graves. Have you played any version of this?
