Kendrick and Wayne are my top 2 of all time. I grew up with both. Wayne through my teenage years and Kendrick through my late teens into adulthood. I think it’s crazy that anyone would think Wayne would put on a better Super Bowl worthy production and performance than K dot. No chance. The performance itself with no backing track, solid breath control, adding new bars and unreleased tracks, changing lyrics to censor them, whilst maintaining so much movement across the stage and keeping up with the choreography. Wayne wouldn’t be able to do all that. Then you have the symbolism of the production, Wayne isn’t bringing that to the table either. I love Wayne’s music but let’s keep it real.

Speed Racer and Alita: Battle Angel have to be the best live action anime adaptations. Unless I’m forgetting something, I can’t think of any others that are on par or better. It’s unfortunate that audiences didn’t gravitate towards Alita enough. Those sequels could’ve been amazing.

The only TV I tend to watch nowadays is anime. It’s even been a while since I’ve found a good American animated show. I’m currently enjoying the new series Common Side Effects on Adult Swim / Channel 4. It’s funny, the plot is interesting and the animation has that old school King of the Hill vibe.

I’m currently reading At the Mountains of Madness. It’s a damn shame that del Toro wanted to adapt it into a film and nobody was willing to fund it. Lovecraftian horror with Guillermo del Toro at the helm would’ve been special.

I didn’t realise PSN is still down. Sony’s silence about this makes it more concerning. I remember the near month long outage in 2011 which was the result of a data breach. Hopefully the same thing hasn’t happened again. It’s crazy how little the PS5 functions without server access. I can’t look at my profile, games library or trophies.

I finally watched Sleepy Hollow last night. This instantly jumped into my top 2 films from Tim Burton and it might not be the 2. A gothic horror fantasy with stunning atmospheric imagery. It has much more blood and decapitation than I expected. I thought this would’ve been kid friendly to some degree. It’s not😂

Kanye West is a hall of fame attention seeker and a repugnant individual. I’ve grown tired of seeing his name and hearing about him in recent years. It’s never for anything good.

So I just found out Xbox Cloud Gaming has a max resolution of 1080p! That’s outrageous especially because of their cloud marketing push saying any device is an Xbox. You need a 4K Fire Stick for the Xbox app yet Xbox cloud doesn’t even stream in 4K. That’s ridiculous. The PS5 can stream 4K and it looks great. I have a free yearly subscription to Game Pass and intended to play Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, but I can’t play it in 1080p. It looks rough.
