@cremieuxrecueil @LinkofSunshine Maybe the people who live in those cities should decide that instead of the federal govt

@OldHollowTree This isn’t even true. I’ve seen plenty of examples of AI writing and haven’t seen a proliferation of em dashes at all.

@jondipietronh @LizWolfeReason I got stuck on this comment, succinctly sums up and creates a visual of how gross this is.

@incogneeeeto @HamesWarner @SarahTheHaider Yes and they were satisfied with very modest homes. Their lifestyles were very different. You likely wouldn’t find it meets your modern standards.

@SarahTheHaider @MariGO2thepolls One reason my husband & I work hard is so we will be able to help our kids, with an eye to future grandchildren and leaving a legacy via family. There isn’t anything wrong with spending your money the way you feel is best. But I wouldn’t fund them just so they could live in NY

@SarahTheHaider I just heard a self-identified liberal complain that boomers will get a second home rather than help their kids buy a first one, so I don’t think the older generation can win here.

@tracewoodgrains It’s a poetic phrase but terrible terminology if communication is the goal. “Forced removal” is much better, clear and accurately descriptive. As an aside, I wonder how many Gazans would leave if given the opportunity to relocate. I think in their shoes, I would.

@James_West_PhD @HistoryBoomer I was just thinking this. No one can reply anyway, so even Carl shouldn’t have been able to offend.

@alfredohinny @RealMattFradd This is better. I wish the backpack were omitted, and there is something odd about the way his clothes are painted, but it’s much more reverent.

@AnthonyJohnLap1 @FrTotleben92742 @RealMattFradd No, but it should be aesthetically pleasing and to do that, it needs to fit in better with its surroundings. That can be accomplished with a modern expression, but it’s as if no thought was put in to it.

@RealMattFradd It’s very “hello fellow kids,” trying to be relevant in the wrong way. Modern is fine. It’s overly casual though. It doesn’t fit in with its surroundings and isn’t aesthetically pleasing.
