@faraiwande Changing port is a good idea. Also, consider disabling password authentication and use key based authentication instead, it's more secure. In addition to that, install fail2ban or sshguard to automatically block IPs that attempt to brute force your server

@faraiwande Damn, the bots are quick! Check your SSH logs too. You'll probably find similar attempts to brute force into the server

I've taken the first step and set up storage in AWS that's configured to automatically send notifications to AWS services I'll need to trigger starting a GPU-powered EC2 instance whenever a new video is uploaded. I wrote a post about it here: More later

@PatrickOkwute Another alternative that doesn't get mentioned a lot is Docker Swarm. It uses the same docker API and compose files you're used to and is much simpler to work with than Kubernetes.

I've made the GitHub repo I'm using to build out my homelab public Cluster Highlights: - Cluster running for 11 days now - 2 environments; staging & prod - Deployments via GitOps using Flux CD - AWS Parameter Store for secrets - Cloudflare for security

I took a declarative approach to building this cluster i'm working on. This means that everything In the cluster is described in git. This allows me to automate set-up, management, dashboards, infrastructure and everything else. I'll share the repo once everything is in order.
