Yes this is very standard practice and has been for decades. If you are willfully doing harm to your health such as heavy alcohol abuse, drug abuse, smoking, obesity, and lack of vaccinations you are ineligible for organ transplants. Organs are extremely rare and they want to make sure they are getting to qualified recipients
