H.E. President @edmnangagwa officially opens the 2025 Zimbabwe Cabinet year at State House. In his address, the Head of State directed Cabinet Ministers to approach the new year with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. This, he said, will ensure that the general citizenry benefit fully from Government programmes and projects, leaving no one and no place behind. President Mnangagwa said Cabinet Ministers should remain active and focused on their areas of responsibility in order to deliver positive, tangible results to the public. He said Deputy Ministers will this year sign performance contracts in order to improve accountability and service delivery by Government. The President also highlighted that the country will host and participate in several regional and international engagements, which should reap positive results for the country. President Mnangagwa emphasized that Cabinet is run through collective responsibility, and Ministers must be bold and decisive in the execution of their duties, which are intertwined and contribute towards the acheivement of common goals across Government.

This weekend, I had the privilege of officiating a transformative event in my constituency, where over 500 individuals graduated having been trained in a variety of essential skills, including detergent and juice production, tailoring, welding, mortuary services, and early childhood development education teacher training among others.
