I promised myself I will tell this story before the end of this year. My cousin lives in Minna (she’d been there for more than 2 decades), and she runs her own private clinic there. In the past, I had visited her, and I know she had treated many patients for free. I counted it..
My resolve, and I encourage y’all too, be a blessing to someone in this new year, be the channel of miracles and blessings to others. This lady is unsung, quietly ministering to the needs of others, in Minna, town of the rich generals!!! May the good Lord reward her appropriately
Was at Orile today, only to discover that Nigerian made tiles have taken over the market more than imported ones. Beautiful designs, and they are far cheaper! Made possible by PMB’s policies. Buharists, congratulate yourselves, Nigeria is definitely on the march again! 🤝👍
him regain his sight. I silently prayed for this to happen. And so I left Minna on a Saturday, the same day Tanko was scheduled for his operation. When we spoke on Sunday evening, the bandages were off, and Tanko could see!!! This is the greatest miracle of 2019, for me! ...
Shame on all those PDP shenanigans who would threaten us with ‘report to US, UN’, at the slightest opportunity. Where are the NGOs? One fact is proven, human beings are the same all over, only circumstances are different. There’s no perfection outside God!
Any time I travel, I find foreigners doubting if I’m Nigerian, and I spend a lot of time explaining that I am proudly Nigerian resident in Nigeria, and people like me are in the majority, not the few ‘razz’ people who are bad examples.
Was on the Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan train recently. While I was glad for the opportunity to travel stress-free, a section of passengers (some traveling for the 1st time), kept complaining and predicting that the service will be dead in a few years. Why do Nigerians like negativity?
There are 4 seasons in the life of everyone, the season of nothing; not enough; enough and more than enough! May all who read this tweet get to the season of ‘more than enough’ in due time, and by the mercies of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
and left home, so all she could do was to be hospitable to other children. The children’s ages range from 11 to 19, and they came from different backgrounds, Zuru in Kebbi, Gwari, Nupe, Kambari in Niger, Zamfara etc. I wish all of us Nigerians could be this hospitable and ....
accommodating. I am personally challenged by her ‘Ministry’ as a friend put it. Now to the juicy part, the youngest of them, Tanko was born blind and she took him in last September. I kept asking why she accepted the boy, and she explained that she felt medical care could help..
as generosity. Over the years, this trait had grown into greater dimensions. I visited Minna again in November, and she had 11 children under her care, I mean 11!!! I was overwhelmed, but she explained that she’s a widow, with a big house and her children were all grown up...
@TonyOElumelu
Some of the people who are involved in the nefarious acts listed here are busy hobnobbing with the high and mighty& put their money in the banks. The bunkerers, Directors of the DisCos, subsidy collectors are your neighbors in highbrow areas. We don’t scrutinize them. Hypocrisy!
It’s time for supporters of BAT and PYO, to tone down the hostilities, silly subs, and be more open minded, so that you won’t be too weakened to work for the eventual candidate. An Atiku president is not an option, no matter what. My Sunday blessing o!
The whole world is in turmoil; Russia/Ukraine, Covid resurgence, Boris resigns amid massive mess, worldwide inflation, insecurity in Nigeria, gun violence in US, Shinzo Abe shot in Japan…Lord have mercy, have mercy Lord, forgive your people and grant us your peace 🙏
First Betta, then Banky, now Eunice! What else can I say? The masquerade is being unmasked slowly. I expect our youths to do better. Whatever happened to the Youth Party? To borrow their phrase, ‘were dey disguise’. Tueh! 😏
It’s a new day,and there’s seeming calm, my palpitations are less. I’m expected to say I told you so, but I won’t because I did. The task of rebuilding a new Lagos, humans and materials, is huge! Fake news makes the passage of the Social Media Bill an urgency.🧵
Still waiting for someone (who knows) to explain to me the strategy behind all these multiple declarations for President within the same party. There must be a game plan or else, how can 100m be dancing ‘yahooze’ like this?
Today is a memorable day, the day of debunking lies, Lekki massacre, and the conspiracy theory of 5G by Oyakhilome. Maybe I can add the remnant of the exposé on FFK. Olorun tobi l’oba🙌
Oh yes. I was in a meeting with them recently. Shows promise, and wanting to do things differently. We hope all their plans work out well for us in this country!
@ChiefOjukwu
Watching this brings to our consciousness the reality of war! Nothing else matters except survival and conquest. Kudos to our gallant soldiers, as we pray for total annihilation of the enemy. Let’s use the same spirit for our unseen enemy, COVID-19!
Would it be appropriate to describe PMB as ‘akinkanju, okunrin ogun, won lee bo, o nle ara iwaju’. Just when you think the story is bleak, God shows up! A whopping $311m! Mehn!! 💪👏👏
Maybe I’m not a Nigerian, or maybe I’m not rich enough, but as we speak, I don’t have old Naira notes, save the ones I’m keeping as souvenirs, I have enough new notes (20k), &all my online transactions are going through. Maybe it’s just my belief in Nigeria, that’s working for me
I get very worried when I see young people insult elders, whether political leaders, teachers, judges, accomplished people, who in many cases are old enough to be their parents. How will they deal with old age when they get there. Elders, let’s live well and set good examples
@riola_schwartz
Good luck to those ones. At least some people are delighted with Nigeria, our homeland. You needed not have commented since you consider Nigeria a shit hole.
The heightened security and especially targeted at infrastructure, is worrisome. The perpetrators obviously don’t want progress for this nation, but by the grace of God, they will know no peace either. Their joy will be turned to sorrow, and for sure, they will be caught!!
How can we continue to complain about unemployment when most of the productive sector was sold under dubious privatization of OBJ/Atiku? Take NITEL alone, most erstwhile NITEL property is now event center, shopping mall, or newly built houses sold to the public.
@LAIDETOS
Wow!This one has definitely secured a mansion for himself in heaven! And well done to you for being so appreciative. God bless you and your dad richly, may you both live long for him to reap the reward of his labor, amen. Really awesome story!
@DOlusegun
Brilliant news! It’s the report of a thorough and well-researched comprehensive activity of that committee. Glad to have been able to contribute to it. Well done, PMB. 👏
Twitter is getting very uninteresting and monotonous these days. All I see is highlighting our differences, political, religious, social and all! When we should be fostering unity, peace and progress! What a world!
There’s nothing sweeter than owning a block industry. I’ve had to use it more than often in recent times. I suddenly see someone following me, and your views are clearly different from mine. So why do you want to follow me, probably to insult....so I quickly deploy my blocks! 😊
@obyezeks
@NGRPresident
@MBuhari
This kind of autopilot is much better than driving the nation aground with personal benefits, Nigeria’s revenue not utilized for tangible results but in personal accounts, and private projects. Look around you and admit to the massive infrastructural developments.
@MBuhari
The outpouring of a genuinely grieving heart, may the Lord console you, and help you to move ahead with this new reality. May the soul of the departed find rest in our Lord, amen 🙏
@ProfOsinbajo
This flawless delivery gives me goosebumps! I’m getting so emotional here… you have my support, and ‘by the grace of God, and the will of the people’, you will get there and achieve greatness for Nigeria and Nigerians! Go for it, PYO. 💪. God bless you and God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬
@YemisiAdeshina
@Kheeng_jay
If you live in Minna, you should know Bisi Clinic, that’s where she’s at. you can meet her and discuss. But primarily, the purpose of this thread is not to solicit help, but to encourage one another to make a difference in the lives of others. So pray for her and help someone too
Coming from my very pensive state in the last few days, the only comfort I have is that the hand of the Lord is upon this nation, and no evil formed against it will stand. We must keep hope alive and resist all attempts of evil and satanic devices. Nigeria will prevail, iJn, 🙏
@attah_awulu
Well, I’m not even sure she realizes what she’s doing is news worthy. She just has the largest heart imaginable, and she’s getting on with life the way she knows it. Indeed she will be blessed and all her children too, amen.
@POSHMAMA1
@ELSiEiSY
There’s no angle here. The delay in response to the Chibok girls was the main issue. Govt was dilly-dallying for days after the abduction. Recall the mass murder of boys in FGC Buni Yadi, preceding the Chibok incident. Could that have a gender undertone too?
‘They will not labor in vain, nor will they bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them’….such is my portion in 2023, and yours too, if you believe. Happy new year!!!
Looking at what is happening in Nigeria today, it’s likely to be said that we are sliding towards being a 1-party state, but no! What is happening, in my humble opinion, is that more and more people are seeing the PDP for the fraud that it is and has always been, and they are....
Oh my country, Nigeria! We are asked to stay indoors to avoid illness brought upon us by the carelessness of the elites, then we are at the mercy of the wickedness of the poor. We excuse criminality,under the guise of hunger. When we had the xenophobia crisis, was it hunger too?
@hadizel
Let’s check under your scarf. Anyway, if it’s any consolation, check out Obama’s hair when he became President, and when he left.... uneasy lies the head that wears the crown 🤷♀️😁😁
What a wonderful way to spend the Saturday! At
@BayoAdedosu
’s mother’s 80th. Great opportunity to see so many people, who’d been hitherto faces on Twitter. The atmosphere was calm,food was on point, music...hmm

To my people,
@iyaboawokoya

, and others, I say pls keep doing what you are doing. You are beacons of hope on this street. Never mind naysayers! We shall overcome! 💪💪
@fimiletoks
Truth undiluted! It’s that same intellectual arrogance that has been worrying us. People who are well traveled or who interact with people from other parts of the country will understand this. The earlier we learn to face our issues, the quicker we will get to national greatness
@GarShehu
@tajudine2013
You can do better too, write them a warning letter, and give the matter the seriousness it deserves, lest they mess up this country. And while at it, put out a statement clarifying what Mr P said. I’d read it somewhere else, so I know that truly the headline is misleading
Thank you. I’ve seen that most people support Biden because of the liberal immigration policies that helped them become American citizens, but looking at the larger picture, we need to be careful. America only cares about America and her interests
He was vice president to Obama who refused to sell arms and weapons to Nigeria, we have to be careful,in as much as I don't like trump but he sold us weapons that would change the fight against insurgency, biden supported end sars,trump was silent,and never interfered
It’s no mistake that I was created a Nigerian, so on this auspicious day, I say, God bless Nigeria, and make her great, bless her with good leaders, and help the citizens to love and appreciate her, so help us,dear Lord Jesus, amen 🙏
@tonikan11
@Sadiya_farouq
@FMHDSD
Brilliant! Whether she withdrew the offer, or you declined, it’s all good. It’s the most honorable thing to do at this moment. Good luck in your future endeavors
Just thinking, all these ‘activists’ who get funded through sundry sources, who exactly do they represent, whose interests are they working for? I was shown a house in Omole Estate recently purportedly bought by one of them for N130m. I beg, who is deceiving who?
@YoungBoy_insane
I will be surprised if this is just a fashion statement because this mode of dressing is characteristic of a particular sect, and the ‘additional fur’, called ‘shaki’, complemented with the wrist beads, is not used lightly. Be informed, pls.
With what I read on Twitter these days, I’m beginning to doubt myself. There seems to be some great infection of the younger generation. Are these observations valid, am I right with my assertions? How do we redeem our land, our youths, and our image?
@muskainoh1
And don’t forget that between 2012 and now, more MDAs have been created, so the mess to be cleared is much more. Definitely not a pleasant exercise, but it has to be done
Back to good old Lagos. What a week it’s been, but Lord, I remain thankful 🙏. So much work, 😅 I’m so drained!!! But through it all, I say, Oluwa e seun!
@justKitan
Congratulations. With such a performance, you should be looking towards post-graduate study immediately. Opportunities for scholarships are many, for high flyers like you. Spend your NYSC year seeking them out, and best wishes for the future. By the way, great UIite!! 🙌👍
@DrJoeAbah
@asemota
Great thread, Dr, but as a civil servant of 34 years experience, I will differ slightly on the ‘victim’ posture of the civil servants. Some would actually ‘dare to introduce’ corruption to the political appointees. They may be the infinitesimal few, but they exist. /
To God be all praise and glory, as we enter into the 6th month! With all that has happened in this year, it is a miracle that we are alive to see this day! I am a living testimony of the goodness and mercy of God, and I am thankful! Blessed forever 😇
@SecPompeo
You guys are on your way out, but you won’t let go of the hatred and envy for Nigeria. This is just grandstanding, and I expect you will spend the remaining days courting goodwill, not trying to perpetuate more trouble
@TonyOElumelu
When we begin to expose the sources of wealth of some of these saboteurs, we may just have begun to get things to work right in our country. But for now, we siddon dey look, until…….
@EditiEffiong
This narrative is not correct. I was old enough to know that our Ibo neighbors who left during the war, all came back to meet their property intact. The scenario you are describing happened in Port Harcourt. The kind of conviviality that existed between Yorubas & Ibos was strong.
Welcome to February. For the rest of this year God will go before you as a consuming fire to destroy hindrance to progress and subdue enemies of testimonies. You will overcome opposition and daily celebrate victories, in Jesus mighty name, amen 🙏
Just thinking, in this era of face masks, what’s going to happen to the young entrepreneurs who do facial makeovers, lipstick manufacturers etc. Need to find another vocation now
@off_Kennyking
That’s not the issue. When a devil enters into a group of saints, he has to conform with the rules of the group. PMB is calling the shots here, so if even you want to steal, you will be careful not to be caught, rather than the free-for-all looting going on under PDP.
@fimiletoks
You see life? And with such a well concocted story! I had said as investigations progress, we will know the truth. Right now I’m tired. Too many lies. I beg.....wetin?
Abba Kyari is dead! One of the most vilified people in PMB’s government, especially by those who know nothing about how govt runs! Very sad, for us as a nation. May God grant him rest, and may his loved ones be comforted. COVID has hit us at the highest level. Let’s be careful
Ogun State government has ordered the clearing of bushes on both sides of Sagamu-Ore Expressway, up to 25 meters inwards. This grants visibility on both sides of the road. I pray all State governments follow suit along all highways in their domain . No hiding place for criminals
@IsidiIke
@mrmacaronii
Patey street and its environs have been one of the most dreaded areas on Lagos Island. Kudos to NDLEA for being able to invade the place. 👍
@BankyW
No sir. When peaceful protests were infiltrated and hijacked, they should have been suspended, but not for a ‘leaderless’ group. I believed in you for the last elections, I voted for you, but I’m so disappointed about the way this was handled. Now everyone has to bear the brunt.
@MBuhari
What is more outstanding is that the 2020 budget has attained 89% performance. And spending is extended to March 31st 2021, to achieve full implementation. All this is in spite of the lockdown
Well spoken. I confirm that he did really give his best, especially for the Eleme people, when he served as Minister of State in my Ministry. Pls give him my kind regards. You are indeed a chip off the old block. Commendable.
Lessons From My Father,

2 Beautifully finished 3-bedroom bungalows, all rooms en-suite for rent at Paramole, near Lusada, close to Crawford University. Pls DM with serious enquiries
Shortly after independence? So it’s taken almost 60 years to have it replaced. Thank goodness PMB has thought it fit to fix the bridge for the benefit of Nigerians, not minding that others before him didn’t. 🙏
I told him clearly I wasn’t buying anymore & asked if he heard of any money stolen by PMB, or why he chose to make such a stupid statement. He apologized profusely It’s worrisome how people make assertions without thinking them through and end up being misled or misleading others
@BankyW
This just sounds like playing to the gallery. Revenue for the State is lost every day, staff have been off salary for so long, and moreover, there are alternatives. How far do the tolls impact on the‘difficult’ life. I’m disappointed 😔.
