Grew up going to bandit games was even a ball boy for them a few games. Words don’t do justice for how grateful I am to be joining
@NLLBandits
and to make this long awaited jump to the next level. Thankful for opportunity. Now time to work
#jobsnotfinished
One of the last times I played in philly. I played a certain prep school who had racist remarks towards me. I played box my whole life where stuff like that didn’t happen a lot. But yeah I started a brawl bcuz of what was said. Lacrosse world needs to get a grip on their history.
I am speechless at how the World has shown so much love over the past couple of Months for something they believe in.
I feel like we haven’t even touched the surface of what we are capable of as a society.
Anything is possible when we work together...
#TogetherAsOne
My take: Gaudet grew up playing for the same team I played on. Now he’s played for some racists teams and never stood up for me and my people. Yes I’m referring to y’alls all high and mighty Yale team. Anyone remember when I almost punched him in the face?
We stand in solidarity with the Iroquois Nationals, we extend our hand in offering to assist them and international governing bodies of sport to forge pathways that enable their inclusion.
FULL STATEMENT:
If you were to ask me how much I miss the game right now. I’d say I’ve been watching Tv in my living room with my box helmet on for atleast an hour lost track of time tho.
The PLL Has to bring the game to the Ontario Lacrosse Festival. Introduce
@PremierLacrosse
to the thousands of kids to the field game. I barely knew what field was let alone that there was a pro league when I was playin minors.
I couldn’t sleep since I’ve heard this and after the sleep I did get my blood is still boiling.
@TWG2022
you want the game to grow you let us play. Anyone in the lacrosse world you want the game grow you let us play.

I hope people understand why Zed Is holding his stick thru the ceremony.
He could care less about that trophy, it was never about that.
He understands the spiritual demension of lacrosse.
He personifies his stick,it treated him good today. And he appreciates/loves it for that
Tonight’s home playoff game will go on as scheduled, but we will be playing with heavy hearts.
There will be a moment of silence pregame for the victims.

@jordiebarstool
me too. I can’t bite my tongue anymore. I can’t deal with “go back to the reservation and collect your welfare chegue” “cut your braid you f*gg!t” this is the type of shit I deal with at the college level but also any game I’ve ever played in.
Gaudet laughing maniacally after that Gutty Bomb and immediately telling Blaze "you can't dodge the ball, you have to save it".
Gaudet is my early nominee for MVP
It does not surprise me not even a little bit and that’s sad. Heard it my whole life and by the looks of it it isn’t going away anytime soon. One day at a time keep calling out the parents the kids the racist.

We as Native people have to become together as one and speak louder for the rest of the world. We are still here and aren’t going anywhere.
#WeWinYouWin
#TogetherAsOne
So this is the same old story, different time in history.
As native people we’ll continue to run this ever lasting track of hurdles.
it’s timeless and exhausting but must continue to fight.
The colonizers don’t want Indigenous people to be native. Want us to be Canadian/American
Every opportunity I’ve been blessed to wear a

Please unfollow me if you got nerve to say get over it. My cardiac test right now can’t handle the blood boiling. It don’t surprise me but let’s figure it out people

Get over it? That’s the thing, non natives been telling us natives to ‘just get over it’ for years. Do you know not understand or know why we just can’t get over it? And how triggering that really is to hear.
Last night, Iroquois Nationals players and staff were honoured by Katzie First Nation with a dinner and blanket ceremony, welcoming us to their home
We are humbled by the hospitality, well wishes, and love bestowed upon us by their community

To everyone crying about the Gaudet chirps tonight:
Not everyone needs to be a role model. Professional sports are entertainment. That was electrifying television
Byrnzy is a walking highlight reel...and we are HERE FOR IT
Josh Byrne just buried a quick-stick, backhand, IN THE AIR, goal that has us asking, "Did that really just happen?"
Walking anywhere you see someone you know and you pull out your imaginary stick and score on them or spin off em or shake em? Anyone? I could be walking and throw a jab step front of anyone n score on that net (imaginary)

as a young ball boy. Rich Kilgour said this about Tehoka: “At Six Nations, there’s always 100 kids out on the floor & if there were 100 kids, by the end of the night you’d be watching one - that was always Tehoka.”
I bet if you can't dunk a basketball you can learn to score in lacrosse all while learning the History of the game that'll just make you love/like the game even more. It really is a game for everyone

We all lost a good coach & most importantly a great friend! He was a players coach, and a player who made things look easy. Dean will be missed by everyone! Rest easy Coach!
