I try to be optimistic and treat all people with respect & care. I have been criticized, interrogated, and questioned over this traumatic experience. My dog was stolen. It’s crazy that I’m defending myself in the midst of trying to get my baby back.

I didn’t receive not one phone call!! Only generic emails with my dog’s name inserted to put a personal touch to it. My name is Teffiney Worthy. My dog who lost his life is named Memphis. That statement is not true. Shame on you!

Memphis was loved by so many.. He was part of the staff at Whittier Elementary. Teaching this school year will look so different.
His death is on DD and DC!! My baby deserves justice!!

The funding is for a reward to find my dog and a private investigator. It’s not cheap. I’m going off suggestions from previous victims who had their dogs stolen in DC.
Very tiring explaining myself when I didn’t do anything wrong.

I called the police immediately after my dog was taken and driver left. For safety reasons I did not fight back. These kids are ruthless. There’s a police report on file and I working with police to help find my baby.

Correction my dog was at doggie daycare supposedly at a safe facility but due to district dog negligence he was killed. Reading is fundamental. Please get the facts before you respond to a victim who is going through a lot mentally while trying to get her pup back.

disheartening to see this. I have no words or energy to put towards this nonsense. I’m not sure what I have to gain. My energy will be put to the ones that are helping get my dog back and not critiquing what I should have done. I love my pup and I feel awful feeling hopeless.
