the issue with living in NYC is you know at some point you probably should move somewhere quieter, cheaper, etc. but when you try to consider alternatives you realize everywhere else is lame in comparison

When I have a week where I’m not feeling too hot, I reflect on my sleep quality, workout consistency and diet. 99% of the time some or all of these were poor and after 1-2 days of course correcting I feel incredible. You could replace so much supplementary stuff with just those 3

This is only true if you pick the right start up and the reality is the vast majority of start ups are the wrong start-up. Young grads are far better off going into big tech or consulting or banking than blindly going to some seed stage start up they stumbled across
The beginning of your career is a perfect time to join a startup.
New grads deciding between Big Tech and startup life often overestimate the risk of startup failure and underestimate the risk of exposure to Big Tech stagnancy.
And that's not their fault — they're just getting
