I worded this tweet wrong lol, I know why the plane physically broke. I’m confused as to why the plane was even brought into that circumstance to begin with. “Why the pilot would launch up like that” was the intention of my question, but the answer is pretty subjective

I just had sulfuric acid explode in my face (mostly because I’m a dumbass). It was by far the scariest thing I’ve had happen (to me) in the lab. However I didn’t go full dumbass as I was wearing proper PPE so I’m totally fine!
