Today marks the 20th anniversary of the largest, most destructive and devastating tornadoes tore through central Oklahoma. The mile-wide funnel caused approximately $16 million in damage and ultimately claimed the lives of five Tinker personnel.

HUGE day for the @usairforce, as the #KC46 has been accepted as the new refueling aircraft. A maintenance mecca, Tinker Air Force Base is home to the KC-46 campus, which is expected to bring approximately 1,300 jobs to the state of Oklahoma.
Today, the #USAF accepted the #KC46. The @22ARW will receive the first #aircraft as early as the end of the month.
