We have some very, very bad news.
We received an email, basically saying that Rovio isn't happy with Angry Birds Refresh existing. This is why the game has been permanently shut down.

While the playtesters were doing their thing, I have decided to begin cooking another project....
A server recreation of Angry Birds Star Wars (Facebook)!
The idea is the same as Angry Birds Refresh's, recreate the game's servers but using Discord rather than Facebook.

An update on the matter: No, there won't ever be an Android version of the project. An Android version could very well compete with the main game, and we absolutely don't want that. I hope you understand.

Probably? I think the main problem would be the difference in engine. Flash is easy to mod and all, but the pre-Unity mobile version uses Fusion (the classic AB engine), and I believe it has its Lua files pre-compiled and encrypted, making it harder... (1/2)

Please, do not do things like this. While I hate what Rovio did, it's not Buck's or any of the staff in Rovio Gaming's fault. And even if it is, sending death threats to people is very wrong.

AB Refresh got taken down, I had to deal with a bunch of raiders in RGCord because of it, and the Modding Hub also made a thread dedicated to sending death threats to Buck

This was presumably done when the Flash version was in process of being replaced by the Unity version, for players who had the Piggy Tower (which was never available in the Flash version).

Semi-unrelated but; I think something that should be appreciated a little bit more is Rovio's attempt at embracing fan games and mods (especially after the doc. reponse). This doesn't resolve the other issues AB has right now, but I think it's really nice of them.

At 7:00 PM (GMT-3), Angry Birds Refresh will go down as we're going to be changing the game's domain.
The app will need to be updated to use it, though at least for some time, we will have a redirect to the new domain from the old one.

Oh my god. I used this same screen in 3 videos, and only now I realize I've been mispelling "supporting" as "supporing" this entire time, and I only realized because of a comment in the YouTube upload.
...That's embarrassing.

2. Version 1.0.2 of the launcher is on its way, which should (hopefully) fix the issue.

It appears that levels 1 and 5 of the current tournament have an issue where they self-destruct. We have put the game under maintenance while we search for replacements.
This shouldn't take too long, however.

Hey there! Sorry if there hasn't been any updates in a while, my Windows hard drive started making clicking noises and I'm using an external drive with Holo SteamOS on it. I managed to get a Windows Virtual Machine up and running so I should be able to work on the project again.
