Had my final tutoring session with my year 2 child who passed their phonics screening last week. I will absolutely miss tutoring such a fantastic, smart child who only came into the country last September and has absolutely smashed it the last nine months! I am so proud of him!🌟

Okay yesterday’s daytime (1-5pm) over 30’s only, 90’s dance classics rave was special. A fantastic way to see out the summer break.

We’re using a poem from this book for our English/transition unit.
The children are learning so much about a culture none of them can directly relate to.
Hearing black stories is important. Especially when you are in a class containing zero black peers.
