If you ever need your faith in humanity restored, I urge you to attend a cross country meet. Any XC meet will do it.
It does not matter the color of uniform a runner is wearing, people here can be heard rooting for EVERYONE, fast or slow.
Rest of the world can learn a lot here

One thing to keep in mind about cross country...there’s just one class. There’s no Class A and 2A, 3A and 4A. No big school class and small school class. The runner next to you may be from a school with 2,000 + kids or maybe 200. Doesn’t matter, you just lace em up and compete!

Bit of personal news: It’s been 30 days since I received a call from my boss at the Clarion stating I would be laid off. I’ve not heard from them since.
With that being said, I’ve decided I will be moving to Hannibal, MO within the next 2 months.
