@cmillsnbcs
has all the truth in this minute. Chris loves the Wizards and is so insightful. Time for the guys in the locker room to decide their identity and their destiny.
One last rant…. Our owner and FO were always blaming the supporting cast instead of admitting we were building around a non superstar.
That’s why this sux so much.
So I welcome year 2 of this new direction. It is still better than the insanity of building around Beal.
The Wizards are hiring former Hawks President of Basketball Operations Travis Schlenk as Senior VP of Player Personnel, sources tell ESPN. New Wizards president Michael Winger lands a well-regarded talent evaluator and executive as he continues his search for a general manager.
As an old white guy I can say this: we got rid of two slow old white guys, and replaced them with young, athletic, brothers. We have been waiting for this for a long time.
(is that controversial)
Beal is a terrible defender. Gets lost in screens, “pretends” to wave a hand at Simons but never gets his arms up. It’s a joke how lackluster his effort is.
Literally everyone is down on the Wizards. Fans, NBA, media, local press, local radio, bloggers. They all say the same thing. No vision, history of low expectations, owner has no idea what he is doing.
Yall know how much I love Gaff. But Holmes AVERAGING 15 rebounds a game during our winning streak PLUS a FRP makes that trade unbelievable.
Props to our FO.
I hope Beal has a great game and we honor him. I would still love to win.
But if and when we lose we should still cheer for the guy.
I will admit I was too critical. He is a great player. Blame Ted and Tommy for the supermax.
"I'm excited for him." Kevin Durant.
"We're going to rally behind him." Devin Booker.
Bradley Beal return to Washington after 11 seasons with Wizards before offseason trade to Phoenix.
"Going in with an open mind, open heart. Embracing all the feels. Embracing the love."

It’s truly hard to explain to my wife about being so sad about Rui…. Its not just today, it’s like a feeling that I am a fan of an organization that just ruins everyone that it comes into contact with….the opposite of something I want to support and root for.
If you love

go to minute 25:15 of this video and listen to Mike Winger describe Jordan’s year here.
You will be inspired. Mike gets emotional. I got choked up.
@PooleMuse
@HanBenet
I’m only 10 minutes in. I friggin love these guys. And I am reminded they aren’t even here a year yet!

This is REALLY well said. Jordan didn’t force it and got everyone into the game. Picked some good moments to shoot too.
Poole should definitely be our starting PG.
Corey knows. I could give a whole 🧵 about this, might later, but to all the people that have said anything about Jordan not being the top on the other teams scouting report, his is teammate just stated it!! He spoke about his great personality as well.
Also love their bromance!!
The Washington Wizards are introducing new Courtside Lofts next season — starting at $128,000 for the year.
Each space includes 4-6 guests and a five-course menu delivered to your seat.
Daniel Gafford last 5 games:
7/7 FG
5/5 FG
7/7 FG
9/9 FG
5/5 FG
He has made 33 (!!!) straight FGA, 2 shy of Wilt Chamberlain’s consecutive FGM record - SO CLOSE TO HISTORY! Also added 7 blocks in a win over GSW tonight. Mavs 4 straight wins.
Look how much lighter his mood is too.
I want our culture to be like that… maybe in 3 years?
Maybe some of the swagger in 2?
Really happy for him. He’s gonna shine!
We just won back to back… against Spo and Butler… in Miami… by winning Q3 and Q4.
With no one playing Center.
That is by far the most impressive win.
Those guys deserve all our praise and thanks for tonight.
Trading Kuz, and getting 3 of the top 26 picks, even in this weak draft, would be awesome IMO.
We would still be bad next season, and add another top 5 player in a VERY strong class - maybe even a franchise changer with some luck.
2026 - 2030 would be all upside years.
The Wizards are expected to eagerly act as a trade facilitator over the next few weeks, per

Washington is willing to take on unwanted salaries in multi-team deals for future draft picks and young players.
WIZARDS TWITTER - I truly believe we all had a little tiny part in this shift - helping Ted realize he needed a whole new brain trust.
Best I have felt about being a Wizards fan in 20+ years.
It will still take more time... and ain't a guarantee of success, but...
There are rumblings about the Spurs potentially moving up to No. 1, per

Sarr and Wemby? 👀
“Sarr is widely projected to go No. 2 overall to Washington, as we covered here Wednesday, but rumbles about San Antonio interest in jumping up from No. 4 to No. 1 by
The ONLY way this makes sense is that they are gonna play Sarr at the 4, and are going after one of the Centers with the 14th pick. OR they think they can get Topic.
This is ROUGH right now.
Here it comes. Already starting to blame others. Lack of personnel.
Not sure he was trying to pass or rebound much.
He’s done here in his mind.
I empathize.
I love Kuz and Winger for this in the long run. We had the parameters of a Kuz set BUT Kuz wants to stay in DC and build something.
I hella respect that.
Stephon Castle: "It's just this past year I had a bad shooting year. I wish I had shot it a lot better, but I work on my shot a lot and I have a lot of confidence in it. I don't think that's an area of worry for me." Said his defense will be "eye-opening" for the team taking him
For the Wizards, a play-in berth this year would be pointless. They desperately need a dynamic talent that can inject life into the locker room & hope into the fanbase. The best way to do that is getting as high in the Lottery as possible. In

Tough decision emotionally.
VERY good decision for a basketball and strategy perspective.
We can’t overpay for anyone right now, and the market has spoken.
A+ for our FO.
The Washington Wizards are declining the $11 million option on guard Landry Shamet’s contract, sources tell ESPN. A career 38.4 percent three-point shooter, Shamet will join the free agent market.
Alex Sarr to the Wizards at No. 2 overall is now viewed as a lock, per

The Hawks will be deciding between Zaccharie Risacher and Donovan Clingan at No. 1.
Y’all my mom has to have emergency surgery. Gotta drive to PA tonight. Will miss the game but I need to remember my priorities anyway. I’ve gotten out of whack.
I’m watching recorded game.
Half time.
This young man is literally doing everything and looking so smoooth. Amazing IQ too.
He is above all expectations.
