Today is Saturday. If the 4,000 homes from the $2 billion were all completed over the next seven days, the extra supply for 10,000 people will be used up by next Sunday. We haven't even started a real conversation about housing. Politicians serve developers, banks & landlords.

Landlord kicking off the new year with a ~$100 a week increase. Will be $180 a week outlay due to Labor, if unable to find a cheaper pad. Not blaming my landlord. He or she doesn't make the decision to add hundreds of thousands of extra renters per year. Albo does.

How do we know if Labor are listening? The national rental vacancy rate has been 0.8% for three months. If Labor are listening, we will see the vacancy rate rise. 0.9% then 1.0% then 1.2% If it stays at 0.8%, Labor have no intention of fixing the rental crisis. Simple.
