The stakes of the 2025 tax fight couldn’t be higher. Republicans want to give massive tax breaks to billionaires by jacking up costs on hardworking families. We’re the campaign that’s going to stop them 🧵

Murphy: "I continue to get reports from Connecticut that agencies there, like Head Start programs and community health centers, are actually not receiving the funding they are due. So I think there's a big question as to whether the administration actually is implementing the court order."

OSHA exists to protect employees and ensure safe workplace conditions. The Trump-Musk efforts to eliminate it are motivated by the same exact thing as their tax cuts for billionaires: Enriching the wealthiest few at the expense of hardworking people.

Extending the 2017 Trump tax cuts that overwhelmingly went to the ultra-rich? Seems like a bad deal.

Russ Vought—who was just confirmed as Trump’s budget director—isn’t trying to deliver for the American people. He’s trying to deliver tax cuts for billionaires.

Trump's moving forward with his plans to close the Department of Education. Eliminating the DOE would layoff thousands of teachers from schools, increase classroom sizes, and put resources for disabled students at risk.

72 million Americans on Medicaid > a few greedy billionaires The math is simple, y’all. No jeopardizing Medicaid, no tax cuts for billionaires.

More than 72 million Americans depend on Medicaid to access health care—yet Republicans want to gut the program in order to fund even more tax cuts for the wealthiest few. Shout out to our friends @ProtectOurCare for leading the charge to protect working families.

In this Admin, the White House isn’t the people’s house—it’s the billionaires' house. So it's no coincidence that Zuckerberg just happened to be there as Trump and House Republicans were strategizing about passing trillions in tax breaks for billionaires like him.

Scalise following WH meeting: We really covered a lot of ground, and we made a lot of headway, and we narrowed the areas of disagreement or uncertainty. You know, there were some big issues where nobody was in agreement on certain things. We actually got agreement on some of them, and we narrowed the disagreement on the remaining ones to where we're we have to go talk now to a lot of the other members of our conference who weren't there.”
