When people learn about my life they often comment on how brave I must have been. Growing up in an orphanage – being adopted and living life in a wheelchair. But for me, “my brave” was an act of acceptance. Accepting myself as I am ❣️#sunday

I got the honors to meet Duke of Sussex several times at the marathon. He handed the awards to the winners. When we meet in 2011 we discussed how we wanted to see change in the disability community. Incredible person. I couldn’t thank him enough with his involvement in the film.

What a @bostonmarathon race today! I fell on the train tracks today due to a wet first half of the race but this girl got right back up! Thank you to the amazing crowds and family for the support today. Went from 6th place to 2nd place! I’m ecstatic! Can’t wait for next year 💙💛

What a games. Got a PR in the marathon today with a challenging sprint in the last bit of the race in the rain today. So incredibly happy with the outcome of the games. Proud to be taking home 🏅🥈🥉 and making my track and field medal count to 20 overall (not too bad ☺️) .
