The children wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of our Key Workers. Thank you to all the NHS workers, Teachers, Delivery drivers, Shop workers, Farmers, Police Officers, Fire officers and Council workers and everybody else who is on the front line day in day out ❤🌈
Today, we remember the life of a truly amazing lady. Please join us in thinking of Mrs Bebbington at 12:30 today. We are so proud of her. ‘In memory of a life so beautifully lived, of a heart so deeply loved.’

An important message. If your work is not essential to this fight, please keep your children at home. We’re here for those who really need us.

An emotional day at school as we say thank you and goodbye to Mrs Welch and Mrs Laue. With 25 and 19 years of service respectively to our school community, thank you does not seem enough. But thank you. We wish you all the very best in the world.
Year 4 were inspired by The Water Horse and The Sheep Pig, written by the talented writer
@DickKingSmith
- we love the animal theme in all of his books!
A huge thank you to our staff who give their own time so the children can have the wonderful experiences that residential visits provide. Always above and beyond. Today, some were even straight off to fixtures on returning after a 44 hour shift. Amazing commitment from you all.
Thank you to our amazing team, opening an extra week to give the remaining year groups a week in school. Lovely to see the children back in this morning. Smiles all round and learning lots.
Great news. We have just been awarded the Schools' Games Mark Gold Award for the second year running. Great effort from all, with special mention to Mr Griffiths and Mrs Tyrie.
Breaking news:
@TarvinPrimary
has been awarded the School Games Mark Gold Award. This recognises the tremendous commitment to involvement in sporting competition and tops the Silver Award we won last year. Special mention must go to Mr Griffiths who has spearheaded this superbly.
This little girl has inspired us to create a new award: The Tarvin Primary School Kindness Award. She sent a card to the Chief Exec of the Countess of Chester Hospital and donated her pocket money for medicine - instead of putting it towards a pet rabbit.

Merci Madame Hill! Today, we had a special farewell assembly for Mrs Hill, who has been teaching and supporting the children of Tarvin for the past 16 years. She will be missed greatly by children and staff. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our school.

Our Year 6 children missed out on breakfast club when their SATs were cancelled. Thanks to Gary for making this happen for them today! Bacon butties and toast all round!

We were very proud to support
@DSNonline
at Chester Cathedral last night. Our children performed Silent Night in British Sign Language. They were wonderful.

We’re raising money towards building teacher accommodation for Bufunda Primary School in Uganda. Teachers have to walk on average 7 miles to work each day. If we can raise at least £500, 14 staff will walk to school on Tuesday morning! Please help!

Wishing our Year 6s all the very best as they leave us for high school. We are so proud of you all. Remember, “Go and chase your dreams; you won’t regret it. Anything can happen if you let it.”
