Men heeft in dit soort gevallen altijd een sterke emotionele reactie nodig. Dat werkt niet met dode oude mannen. Daarvoor heb je jonge onschuldige kinderen of baby's voor nodig. Vandaar de couveuse leugen in de golfoorlog in 1990. Maar ook tijdens 7 oktober werd het verhaal de wereld in gestuurd over 40 onthoofde baby's. De journalist verklaarde achteraf dat ze van een soldaat had gehoord dat hij DACHT dat dat gebeurd was. Gezien heeft ze zelf niks! Ook de slachtoffers in de controlle torens aan de grens waren jonge meisjes. Ik vraag me af of voor deze functie bewust meisjes zijn gekozen. Omdat wanneer het fout gaat deze ook voor een emotionele reactie gebruikt kunnen worden. Net als de jeugd op het Nova muziek festival. Was het festival met opzet 3 dagen voordien nog dichter naar de grens verplaatst in een gebied dat bekend stond vanwege zijn onveilige locatie? Ik ben er eigenlijk vrij zeker van. Net als de tanks die op de woningen in Kibbutz Be'eri hebben gevuurd wetende dat er Israëli's in de woningen waren. Het was een MIHOP of ten minste toch een LIHOP.
