PULSECHAIN VALIDATOR SETUP GUIDE 🤑 Looking to run a Validator on #PulseChain to earn those sweet $PLS rewards? This is the easiest setup script that I have come across and links to the hardware that I purchased for my validators... PRE-NOTES/WARNINGS: - Each validator requires 32,000,000 $PLS. - Hundreds of validators can be run on this 1 piece of hardware. - You can run validators on different hardware, but this is what I know and what I am using. - There are risks when running a validator. If you miss a step, or don't maintain your validator, you can lose your $PLS. - Make sure you do your own research and know the risks before proceeding. - It is always recommended to do this on the PulseChain TestNet before doing this on Mainnet to make sure you know how to start, stop, restart, and completely wipe your PC and setup a node from scratch with importing your backup validator_keys to your system before you do this on Mainnet. - This is not financial advice. This is strictly for education. - Do your own research. HARDWARE: (Credit to @j_jexxa) (You will need a USB stick to boot from and install Unbuntu 22.04.2 LTS on this computer) Tower & CPU (0+0): RAM (64 GB): M.2 SSD (4TB): (To fit this SSD you will need to remove the ribon cable and the hard drive cage from the tower so that the heatsync clears) SCRIPT: (Credit to @DipSlayer) 1) Once you have your hardware put together and you have a fresh minimal install of Ubuntu on it, set up a static IP for your internet connection. (David Feder's video shows how to do this well - link below) 2) Make sure your power settings are on High Performance and make sure your PC doesn't time out. 3) Open terminal and start with #1 on DipSlayer's script (link above). His script will take you through the entire setup of your Execution, Consensus, and Validator clients. I am using Prysm for the Execution client and Lighthouse as the Consensus client. I wouldn't recommend Erigon for your Consensus client unless you know what you're doing. When you are setting up your validator, it will give you a seed phrase, so make sure you treat that the same way you treat your seed phrases for your crypto wallet. This seed phrase is VERY important and how you can restore your validator keys if you lose them, generate new validators to add to your system, etc. Keep them safe. 4) Once you run through the script you need to make sure that you can get your Execution and Consensus clients to sync (your node running) BEFORE you deposit your $PLS to the PulseChain Launchpad. This ususally takes a day or so. This is VERY important because if you can't get your node running and your $PLS gets deposited and the blockchain activates your validators, you will be losing $PLS until you get your node running. 5) Once your Execution and Consensus clients are synced to the blockchain (your node is running). You can initiate your $PLS deposits via Once your deposits are made, it will take a day or so for your validators to be active. Make sure, again, that your have your Consensus, Execution, and Validator clients running. When you validator client is running, now it should tell you that your validators are pending activation. Once activated, they will automatically come online and start doing attestations and proposals. NOTES: - Using the TMUX style logs for monitoring is very useful. - Use the plsmenu command to pull up your node/validator menu. - Keep your clients up to date! - I like to keep a backup of my validator_keys file on a USB in case something happens. - Setting up the Grafana dashboard is great. You can monitor your validator from different devices on your local network. @los_losey @MulticornCrypto @ZssBecker I mean you can hate RH but love the products he built. I know many people that hate Mark Zuckerberg but use Instagram every day.

@Cryptorigga88 @ogpulsican 100%. Hacker's can't just get in your PC (unless it's a very highly targeted attack). Usually they downloaded something or connected to a bad site.

@coreycosta123 I don't think any cycle will be the same to a T. Rhyme? Yes. Mirror? No. I stay bullish.
