I completely understand those that don’t care for this place. The food, meh. Service, hit or miss.
But for me… the ambiance is impeccable. I haven’t been for a while, but every time I see a photo I instantly am reminded of that feeling I got the first time I went as a kid.
Just sharing my favorite Halloween decoration from any Disney park. Here’s the passenger seat ghost driver with his mini steering wheel at Tokyo Disneyland.
Ok, here it is!
The new ✨Disneyland Esplanade Area Music - Disney100 Edition✨song list!
A HUGE thank you
@nateyagi
who actually sat there today to get this! He’s also a great follow for Disney park content!
The replies are what I expected, but I will die on the hill that these are absolutely brilliant, witty, and simply wonderful. My kids love them, I LOVE them, and I’m glad we still got so many. Kudos on Disney for the chances they took here.
After 120 episodes over 10 years, The 'Mickey Mouse' shorts are coming to an end.
“Steamboat Silly” -- the final short of 'The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse' series -- will serve as the series finale and final episode featuring Paul Rudish's take on the iconic character.
You’re in Epcot at dusk and you’re facing World Showcase Lagoon with your back to Spaceship Earth. The torches have just lit. There is a calm, slightly cool breeze that hits you. A horn from a Friendship Boat is heard in the distance. Your shoulders relax.
That’s the tweet.
Funny enough, after Runaway Railway opens at Disneyland, DLR will have had every *ride* that’s currently at Hollywood Studios except RnRc and Slinky’s.
I didn’t realize these color palettes at the Disneyland Hotel Villas had a breakdown at the base of each column detailing the scenes they represent! New to me and very cool.
CHILLS. Absolutely love this for GE. It’s not something I think most will choose to always see in place of regular fireworks, but what perfect ambiance for the land. PLUS we finally get Star Wars music in the land. 😬
I had a wonderful spur of the moment Disneyland visit this evening. I had some truly precious moments with 1 of my kids, but I’ll post stuff later. I did want to share this gentleman. He was ADORABLE, and while I felt wrong for taking his photo, his joy was too precious not to.
I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again.
The current Mickey Mouse shorts are Disney and Mickey at their finest. I’ll die on this hill if I have to.
Today is a good day for the theme park community. No matter how you look at it, Epic Universe pushes Disney to do better. AND if Disney doesn’t match up in the future, we still win because we have another theme park delivering a just as exceptional product.
After today’s Disneyland visit it has come clear to me that Disneyland needs people-eater attractions stat. That park is always going to be busy now. Without more areas that can help distribute large groups of people mid-day, things aren’t changing.
A silver lining with this new “tropical Americas” area at DAK is the return of a concept-based land, not tied to one IP, where you can have multiple IPs or stories coexist in one cohesive broader theme. This I’m thrilled to see!
I *TRY* to refrain from negativity when I can, truly, but this egregious oversight on these details at the Morocco Pavilion are not in the realm of “it’s ok”, but instead abhorrently terrible. Check out the new look in the quoted post.
For reference, this is what the tile used to look like.

*$200 per day ticket and advanced reservations required. Genie+ is extra. You can't ride all our new rides unless you win a random lottery at exactly 7AM. No refunds.
Just watched Mirabel nearly skipping through Frontierland with a little girl holding her hand. Both enjoying each other’s company. Quintessential pure Disney magic.
People are going to have a field day with this. This feels like it was taking by someone who has never taken or watched a ride POV in their life. Some odd edits here, and odd to mostly just have it a stationary camera looking forward.
EPCOT Center - World Showcase - RUSSIA Pavilion
This is a real treat and a must watch Disney fans. Plus, some excellent footage of
@Joe_Rohde
in his environment. This pavilion looked INCREDIBLE.

I wanted to say thanks for following to my new followers. I want to be clear that I’m left leaning and hate everything and anything Tr*mp. I post a lot of silly, trivial Disney theme park related items, and almost always misspell something. Do with that as you will.

why today’s POV is so awful for forming final opinions.
The POV captures a split second human-sized frog singing and playing on the piano on a turntable.
In stead of turning the camera to focus on the subject of the scene, it shows shot

My emotions ran high at Disneyland yesterday. One of my kids absolutely loves watching Disney parades/shows on YouTube, but is shy and scared seeing them in person. Yesterday things changed. Truly a great moment for me. 🥹
So I’m a little mad at myself for not knowing about the Cellar Restaurant. I’ve lived here for nearly 20 years at did know about this?!?
“…designed by Gene White who was the craftsman from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' at Disneyland. With cavernous walls, red velvet booths…”
Wait until they see what happened when they did testing for Test Track, or the delays of Rise of the Resistance, or the track record of Indy over 29 years. Pretty sure Space, Matterhorn, Thunder have had more days with breakdowns than without. Grasping.
After many attempts, I have FINALLY been able to see Tale of the Lion King. (LOVED IT)
I really wish shows like this were able to have more success these days at Disneyland.
@TangaroaJoel
How about an updated photo of what this angle of the former Tomorrowland Skyway Station looks like? Probably not going to be visiting Disneyland for a little while.🙏

This transition between screens is well-done, especially since we are following the movement of the characters.
And... That screen-time is uncanny long. There is no-way we are staying stationnary there. So, what is happening? Elongated screen? Carousel as in Forbidden Journey?
D'Amaro and Vaughn shared artwork for a reimagined DinoLand that includes potential (?) for incorporating Encanto and Indiana Jones in this reimagined land.
I wasn’t going to say something, but woowwwwww. The amount of people that thought Behind the Attraction should be catered to their niche super fandom of the parks is a bad look. If I was 12 or just getting into deep Disney, this is fantastic…
Raiders of the Ark is ridiculous.
Temple of Doom is ridiculous.
The Last Crusade is ridiculous.
Crystal Skull is ridiculous.
And guess what…
Dial of Destiny is ridiculous.
We all love the originals over the “top-ness”. We have always had to suspend our disbelief.
I’m not going to pretend like I don’t have countless fond memories of this ride, of traveling to Disneyland when I lived afar and returning home to brag to my classmates that I rode THREE WHOLE TIMES on a trip…
So if Tokyo can have this MASSIVE barge that raises and lowers, then retreats backstage… well… you know where I’m going with this.
