This air is toxic. Protect yourself and remember Pre-1970 LA homes pose chemical risks during fires due to asbestos, lead paint, and synthetic materials. Fires can release toxic gases, lead fumes, and asbestos fibers, posing serious health hazards. Be aware, protect yourself, and ensure professional cleanup after fires are out. Change air filters etc.

Just another PSA- If you’re not an LA resident - PLEASE DON’T COME THIS WEEK. Don’t come for tourism, cancel your trip, reschedule that event, birthday, etc. It’s dangerous, our residents are under resourced, and we don’t need more traffic during life saving evacuations. IF YOU ARE AN LA RESIDENT SCHEDULED TO TRAVEL HOME SOON: please postpone if you absolutely can. Air quality is very bad. I am struggling even with the best air purifier money can buy.
