@yacineMTB Why are courses so easy so monetize ? Do you think it plays on the insecurity/ imposter syndrome of people that they don't know anything ?

What i have seen is that most of YC Companies are just experimenting by creating open source projects. Trying to market the same , and figure or pivot to a bigger problem if they can. Atleast this is the trend with the ones having smaller teams.
I just browsed all websites of YC companies in 2024 batches. It has become my favorite way to boost my confidence as an indie hacker. 😄 More than half of the companies are in waitlist mode. There is no public sign up, the CTA is either "Join waitlist" or "Book a call". Many websites look hilariously ugly. 😅

@cj_zZZz The only difference i feel is that AI generally over communicate and be as verbose or more sophisticated than required

@cortes_codes Makes sense, plus really not interesting to work on something where there is no feedback from the community.

@orangebook_ The bigger the ambitions and the more haters you have , chances are you are doing something worthwhile.

@paulg One of the things I have seen as an argument is that people who are approaching the situation should be more experience, or have more domain knowledge. Wonder what your take is on that ?

@levelsio Levels, what do you mean by mental health benefits being big after being 30 . Why do you think that mental health gets worse over the years ? I am in my 20s , so don't understand this.

@jasonleowsg @levelsio people sacrifice health and sleep over money , when they are younger, and plus like it feels like something which can be gained back since they are very active and are having high energy in life.

I honestly never got this. It's very hard to know what to read and what to not, and to discern what is something of real quality . Most of the learning we do also manifest itself in various different ways , if not immediate. Most of the books i have ever read are the famous ones.

@yantsab I feel like that happens slowly and people are more of launch fast and fail fast. I mean if the mvp isn't that useful , chances are that the thing , might not end up being that great. Mainly because founders might burn out

@yacineMTB Hey Yacine , I was thinking of taking a page from your playbook, and write articles like these as well. Any tips you could provide ?
