Very interestingly it’s always the Hindi speaking people who have the audacity to move to another state and then demand local people to speak speak Hindi. Other state folks just migrate and learn the language enough to survive. I learnt Hindi in 2-3 months of moving to Delhi.

My mom came to visit me in Delhi. Her observations:.1. Over head electric wires have been replaced with underground wiring in Chennai in 80s, but delhi still has it .2. Handpulled/cycle rickshaw was removed by MGR in TN but delhi still has it. She is sad abt state of the capital.

@oreyvinaa I have been telling this after house hunting in Delhi. I got questioned if I can afford to rent house in south delhi when I wore a regular solid tshirt+jean +ponytail+zero make up. I was told it’s “too simple” by one aunty. Dei I go to buy expensive jewellery in Chennai like that.
