@SwipaCam @Phil_Lewis_ The hill I'm willing to die on: AAVE should be recognized as an official language. It's an autonomous idiom spoken primarily by ppl of a particular race and nationality. It is a language whose vocabulary differs from generally spoken English; no different than Spanish or Creole.
