S. 56th St & S. Cheyenne St, 8:05pm - TFD responded to a 3 car accident with minor injuries. Please use caution in the area while @TPD continues to investigate the accident.

1800 E 72nd St, 4:13am - TFD crews responded to a call that a portable classroom building was on fire. Crews contained the fire to one building and have already knocked down the fire. Currently working on hot spots. No injuries. Cause is under investigation.

NB I-5 at 56th, 10:55am - TFD responded to a single vehicle fire. Engine 8 is seen here putting the fire out. WSP is investigating. @wspd1pio

4800 blk South J St, 11:07am - TFD responded to reports of a house on fire. Upon arrival, crews quickly extinguished fire from the attached garage that had spread into the house and attic. 1 person is displaced. No injuries.

2:14am, 1200 blk E 36th St - TFD crews responded to a residential house fire. One person was transported to the hospital; one dog was deceased. Fire is still under investigation.

9:36am, 2200 blk Taylor Way - TFD crews are responding to a fire in the Tideflats. Hazmat is on-scene. Fire is suspected to be residual asphalt product in a tank.

1700 blk Marine View Drive. 1:50 p.m. - TFD is on scene of a commercial fire at a lumber business involving a wood pellet making process. The fire appears to be isolated to a hopper and machine. Note Marine View Drive is currently closed in the area and an alt route is advised.

Firefighters continue to work the hotspots in the machinery and Marine View Drive near the scene remains closed at this time.

S. J St & S. 9th St, 1:55pm - TFD responded to a multiple vehicle accident with 2 people trapped inside a vehicle. Crews worked fast to extricate the occupants and transport them to a local hospital. @TacomaPD is investigating.

4500 20th St E, Fife, 11:19am - TFD received multiple calls for heavy smoke coming from a commercial building. 11:42pm - Upgraded to a 2-11. Crews are working both offensively & defensively on different parts of the fire. Crews are still on scene.
