As a licensed Insurance agent with over 15 years experience, I feel compelled to respond to the outrageous responses to Brian Thompson’s murder. Violence is never the answer. The heinous murder of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO is a tragic and unacceptable act. Disagreement with policies or decisions must be addressed through lawful and ethical means, not through brutality. Justice must prevail, but so must humanity. Billion dollar corporations, like UnitedHealthcare, aren’t run by one person. CEOs rely on a team of executives to handle day-to-day operations, strategy, and decisions. So, to blame one person for the atrocity that is health insurance, is short sighted and dangerous. Educate yourself before you speak about it!
