Troopers 🚔 will be on patrol aggressively looking for distracted drivers & enforcing distracted driving violations.
It is against state law to read, write, or send a text while driving in Texas. Violators can face a fine of up to $200.

Move Over or Slow Down, Texas! It's the law.
DPS wants to remind drivers to help make roadways safer for everyone by obeying the Move Over, Slow Down law. Drivers who fail to move over or slow down face penalties for violations, including fines and possible jail time.

🚨Hidalgo, La Salle, Maverick, and Webb Co. recently dealt with human smuggling. In Hidalgo Co., a trooper arrested a smuggler and detained 4 guides with US Border Patrol's help. In Maverick Co., over 500 illegal immigrants, including unaccompanied children, were recovered.🚨
