Of course, Jones should never have been in the running to start with. That’s why we need reform in aviation so that workers and the travelling public come first.

I left the road transport industry in 2006 because I couldn’t keep a roof over my family’s head the way things were going. The new transport reform laws will make a huge difference. @MattBurnellMP

Rideshare driver Rosalina was deactivated by an algorithm after a false allegation. On Feb 26 there’ll finally be protections in place to stop unfair deactivations.

Almost half of aviation workers have been injured on the job, and 9 in 10 are under huge pressure to work unsafely. It's a revolving door of failed airlines and of workers who can’t stay in this industry anymore. Aviation cannot continue in this state.

Australia deserves a reliable, functioning aviation industry. These dnata ground workers are on strike not just for a fair deal for themselves and their families, but for their industry.

“Strike action is always a last resort. You don’t get 1000 workers walking off the job unless there’s something seriously wrong. “And there’s something seriously wrong with standards for workers in aviation. @TWUMichaelKaine

These dnata baggage workers have walked off the job this morning for four-hour strikes. They’re fighting to rebuild aviation jobs that have been decimated - led by Alan Joyce’s Qantas. We have to see decent standards at our airports for both workers and passengers.

A welcome announcement and a strong signal that the Federal Government will not let Rex fail. We now need a long-term solution for aviation to stop the vicious cycle of failed airlines.

Despite being worth more than $2 trillion, Amazon fails to pay its workers enough to make ends meet. Support the Amazon Teamsters striking nationwide to win union recognition, a Teamsters contract, and to end Amazon's exploitation and greed!

Bittersweet day for illegally outsourced Qantas workers. Anne & Susie worked at Qantas for decades—jobs they planned to retire in, with workmates who were like family. Qantas will now pay $120 million into a fund to compensate workers after fighting them in the courts for 4 years
