.@TUMBBHoops’ perfect home record came to an end as it fell to Tulsa 80-74 Wednesday night at The Liacouras Center.

Mashburn Jr., in his first game back, finished with a team-high 19 points but struggled a bit with efficiency, going 6 for 20. Berry had a good night with 16 points, and Settle did as well with 13 and nine rebounds.

Temple drops the game 80-74. Willis led Tulsa with 19 points and Odom finished with 16 points. The Golden Hurricanes shot 72% from the field in the second half. Adam Fisher was visibly frustrated towards the end of the game including throwing a clipboard.

Odom hits a floater over Gray and Tulsa forces a Berry miss on the next possession forcing Temple to foul. Willis knocked down both free throws as the Owls trail 79-74 with 18 seconds left.

Temple had Odom trapped almost forcing a back-court violation but a last-minute heave caught by Braedon Carrington led the guard to get fouled. He'd split the free-throws at line as Quante Berry would hit a big three cutting the lead to 75-74.

Appears to be a lot of frustration on Temple's part with a broken play causing a shot clock violation that Mashburn Jr. was clearly upset about. Tulsa leads 70-67 with 2:53 to play.

Odom slashes his way past the Temple defense throwing down a one-handed mean dunk and Keaston Willis finishes a layup on the next offensive possession as Tulsa gets its first lead since early in the first half.

Tulsa have cut the Owls lead to three with seven minutes remaining behind six points each from Isaiah Barnes and Ian Smikle.

A couple of minutes down in the second half as Temple lead 54-47. Mashburn Jr. has nine points this half as the Owls have been able to keep the Golden Hurricanes at a distance.

Dwon Odom hits a difficult jumper to close out the half as Temple leads 35-34. Odom was talking to some fans in the front row after the shot, as he finished with a team-high seven points in the half. Durodola alongside Berry and Gray finished with eight in the half.

Tulsa got back-to-back offensive rebounds during that possession as Ian Smikle finished off a layup forcing an Adam Fisher timeout. Smikle would then fight through contact finishing a layup on the next offensive possession cutting the Temple lead to three with a minute left.

Temple leads 24-19 with seven minutes left in the first half. Tulsa has been great at hitting three-point shots especially late in the shot clock, but Temple has worked its way down low and to the free-throw line to score.

Temple leads 12-9 going into the first media timeout. Babatunde Durodola and Quante Berry have four each with Durodola playing especially well so far.

Today's lineup for the Owl tonight with Jamal Mashburn Jr. returning to the starting lineup after missing two games.

Temple picks up a 63-53 win against UAB. UAB nearly got back into the game despite shooting 2-12 in the fourth quarter. The Owls shot 35% from the field and committed 19 turnovers. Molina led the team with 17 points on the night.

Temple has a 63-53 lead with 24 seconds remaining. Barring anything out of the ordinary, the Owls will hold on for a win.

Temple leads by eight with 1:08 left in the game as UAB refuses to go down without a fight. The Blazers have gone just 2-11 from the field but have a chance to get within striking distance.
