@Wahmarshh @JetsHonest @jpolly22 If Rantanen stopped moving forward to try to get in front of Comrie, he wouldn't have contacted his stick. Again, it's on Rantanen to avoid the goalie as much as possible. He wasn't tackled onto the goalie, he made the choice to try to push and get in front of him.

@Wahmarshh @jpolly22 The rule states that Rantanen must make "every effort" to avoid the goalie if the puck isn't in the crease, even if being "shoved". Does it look like he tried to avoid the contact?

@Wahmarshh @jpolly22 Attacking a loose puck IN THE CREASE is very different than a fly- by skate into the crease that contracts the goalie, who is focusing on the puck OUTSIDE of the crease.

@caseyskater @WaltRuff @Canes Really? You don't understand the difference? I'll try to use small words: the guy in the crease wasn't attacking the puck on the Canes goal, but he was on the Jets goal. Get it?

@erdman_bra43375 @NHLJets Hitting the inside of the post isn't even a shot on net. The shooter missed the net. That's not luck, that's a lack of execution. And it WAS goalie interference, sorry you're so hurt about it. The Canes aren't even facing the best goalie in the world tonight!

@erdman_bra43375 @NHLJets Defender took himself out of position blocking a shot. Bad play and Pionk took advantage. Canes need to be better against the best team in the league.
