Blackjacks are weapons and as such are not allowed in a carry-on bag. This one was removed from a carry-on bag by @TSA officers at @LGAairport. Don't make that mistake!

The @TSA security team at @ROCAirport removed this mallet from a traveler's carry-on bag. Unfortunately the Whack-a-Mole arcade game is not available in the airport terminal. Traveling with your lucky mole-punishing mallet? Please pack it in a checked bag.

A batarang is a bladed knife often associated with martial arts. It is not permitted through a @TSA security checkpoint. This one was intercepted at the @FlyHIA checkpoint last month. Have a batarang? Please pack it in a checked bag.

.@TSA stopped a man at @PITairport checkpoint this morning with this switchblade and replica gun. He claimed to be an actor and said these were his props. (Everyone's a comedian.) He placed the items in a checked bag and caught his flight.

Replica guns like this one, which was intercepted early this morning by @TSA at @LGAairport, can cause a panic on a plane. Please remember that all replica or toy guns should be packed in a checked bag.

.@TSA officers at @LGAairport intercepted this ax in a traveler's carry-on bag this morning. Passenger told officials that he goes camping and uses it to cut branches when he needs to make fire and forgot it was in his bag. He repacked it in a checked bag and caught his flight.

Planning to travel with a replica gun? If so, please remember that you can't bring replica guns through a @TSA checkpoint. This one was intercepted at the @PITairport checkpoint. Traveler could have put it back in their car or in a checked bag. Instead it was surrendered to TSA.

It's important to remember that gun magazines, like this loaded one that was intercepted at a @JFKairport security checkpoint today, are not permitted through @TSA checkpoints. This one was confiscated by the police after TSA officers detected it.

Note as well that the packaging actually states: Caution: Explosive. That's a great hint!

Just a friendly reminder that brass knuckles are not permitted through a @TSA checkpoint. The owner of this one was arrested by police today at @JFKairport because brass knuckles are illegal in NYC. Don't be that guy.

If you're going to try to conceal something in a hollow can when going through a @TSA checkpoint, you're going to have to try a lot harder than that. The TSA team at @FlyHIA intercepted somebody's stash of pot at the checkpoint today and turned it over to the police to handle.
