I think that’s a great way to describe him! He’s played with real passion and heart for every club he’s represented. Adopting that mentality has made him a fan favourite in so many fanbases, especially in Pardubice. That’s a really special and unique thing to say about an overseas player. Let’s see if he can capture the heart of another Extraliga team before the end of his career.

I think you’ve worded it perfectly. Tron was a special kind of player with a unique yet effective skillset. Opponents underestimated him at their peril. Only a few seasons before he played in Sheffield he was the most productive Dman in the Extraliga with 37 points too. It’s a testament to his legacy that we remember him as a talented and inspirational player. There won’t be anyone quite like him again.

It was very tough to choose that final forward spot for this round! I did want to vary it a little bit, so I can say that Beránek was unlucky to be left out. I’m almost certain that he’s made the team more than any other player this season so far though. I’ve really enjoyed watching his evolution into a premier goal-scoring forward this campaign, especially after his excellent WC with the national team where he played with such grit, heart and soul in the 4th line. He’s got such a diverse skillset. Jícha and Bambula (2+0) were also hard to leave out this week. There were so many brilliant individual performances!

A shrewd signing for @bkboleslav. Mokry has very good potential.👌 Hats off to Přerov too- they have consistently developed goalies excellently in recent times. In the summer months, Mokry is also a fantastic ball hockey goalie and regularly represents the Czech Republic. He seems to have fully invested himself in growing year by year. 💪

@caerdydd78 @HCSpartaPraha I totally understand your point about him setting the standard and leading by example, however Forman is a real local legend at Sparta, so I think he will be the ‘C’ for as long as he’s at the club. He’s the kind of player built for a long, tough PO series. A wily veteran.
