oh god my eyes just rolled back in my head. I've been interviewing people and we dont care if it's artstation or a folder somewhere! All we do is talk about breakdowns, the more junior the more we wanna see those. you can be a generalist lol + don't be rude smh
A friendly bit of advice: If the feedback you give is like this, don't give feedback. Especially don't position yourself as someone who regularly gives feedback, and advertise it to students and juniors to get them to do spec work for your exploitative company.

All 3D Softwares suck! They are built to make us work! Don’t fall for their shiny tools! They are only here to tether us to our screens to move imaginary points in a made up space. Our screens are 2D and yet we work in 3D ever thought of that?!! We are fools! Fools! 😱
Is it "industry standard" for Maya users and Blender users to fight at least once a month or what?

This year was really great for me. I’ve been trying to become environment artist for 5 years and never got the title until I joined Epic this year. I’ve always just been “artist” or 3D artist” but it feels really goodto be appreciated. Might be a bit stupid but means a lot to me

Feeling a bit sorry that the WoW art team is overshadowed today (!)BUT(!) it shows what we want as artists! Seeing art created by humans that is hand crafted! What they do takes thousands of hours and it shows! I don't want to share this space with AI generated art!

Also you don’t have to join an exploitative server to get feedback. Most artists I know will happily review your work. Just ask (what kind feedback you want + images/link) Some are busy, some forget to reply (*looks away) but generally we’re all here to help each other out! ✌🏻
